There was plenty of confusion in the week preceding the match. We finally decided to play the game in Mannheim. The ground had short square boundaries and a very quick outfield. The average score was around 300 in 40 overs.

Match Report:

Playing their first ever home-game, Stuttgart Cricket Eagles (SCE) chose to bat after winning the toss. The opening batsmen, Prasanna and Ravi, began the innings under cloudy conditions. TSG Ketsch's new ball bowler, Munir was a bit wayward in the beginning, but soon got into the 'swing' of things, making the ball move both ways. This was the first ever league game for the Stuttgart Cricket Eagles e.V. The weather was really pleasant and ideal for a cricket match in Sportpark, Karlsruhe when the game between Stuttgart cricket eagles(SCE) and Cricket Lions Karlsruhe (CLK) took off on Sunday, 24th of April. The toss was won by CLK captain and he elected to bat first. The new ball was given to Khawar, the strike bowler of SCE, by Adnan Sadeque, the captain of SCE.
